Canon’s SR Series Ultra Miniature Optical Encoder is a highly miniaturized and high-resolution optical encoder ideal for applications involving linear/rotary motion and speed control.

These motors are supplied with attached gears, pinions, pulleys, lead wires, and conductors in order to reduce OEM labor and material costs.

Canon's brushless servomotors are compact in size and provide high output power. Two types are offered with quick response and smooth rotation. Various custom options can be incorporated to fit your applications.

The Linear Ultra Sonic Motor is a high-performance and reliable piezo motor used for Canon cameras. Sold with or without an encoder, the motor is compact, light weight, and operates at high speed.

Best for use in medical and industrial applications, the KP-1 series from Canon features High Resolution Digital Galvano Scanners.

The GM-1000 series of digital encoder galvano scanners is comprised of four different models with variations in beam diameter, scan angles, small step response, and resolution.

The SR series of miniature optical encoders has been designed to fit into motion control devices with limited space, such as robotic arms for surgery, nanopositioning stages, microscopes, and other medical devices.

Canon USA has developed laser rotary encoders that can provide 81,000 pulses with a 36-mm diameter by using the light-diffraction interference method in conjunction with a semiconductor laser acting as the light-emitting element.

  • The new RA-532H Surface Reflectance Analyzer from Canon USA, Inc. Optoelectronic Components is capable of surface measurements at three different angles (20°, 60°, and 85°). Utilized measurement methods include standard compliant gloss, haze, Image Clarity (IC), and 1-D and 2-D BRDF (Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function) measurements. The analyzer can be used for a variety of evaluation and inspection applications with many types of surfaces such as film, paper, and automotive, printed, or painted surfaces.
