As previously announced, sales amounted to EUR147.5 million and were therefore just 2% above the planned range of EUR140 and EUR145 million. Due to a more dynamic second half of the year, the EBIT margin ultimately reached 7.2%. This means that the originally planned range of 5 to 6% was considerably exceeded.

First Sensor AG, a developer and manufacturer of standard products and customer-specific solutions on the growth market of sensor technology, has produced its 10 millionth pressure sensor for the control of braking systems for a major German original equipment manufacturer. The sensors are installed in almost all gasoline-engined models of the group's brands. The order was confirmed last year and now covers the period up until 2021 with an anticipated annual sales volume of up to EUR 8 million.
