Selecting a pressure sensor for an application includes choosing both the pressure range and the type of pressure measurement. Pressure sensors are designed to measure a certain pressure in comparison to a reference pressure, which can then be divided into absolute, gage, and differential devices.
The LDE/LME series of differential pressure sensors are based on a new and innovative MEMS technology that integrates a micro-flow channel with the silicon sensor chip. This application note presents several advantages that the LDE/LME series of differential pressure sensors has to offer.
This application note experimentally compares LDE/LME differential pressure (Δp) sensors from First Sensor other sensors that use the same (thermal-anemometer-based, non-membrane) sensing principle.
This video presents First Sensor’s test and qualification process using electrical testing, temperature cycling, mechanical shock, vibration/mechanical stress, constant acceleration, and much more.
In this video, First Sensor demonstrates their production process for an inertial sensor.
This video takes you through a visual, step-by-step progression of the First Sensor development process.
In this video from First Sensor, Dr. Adriano Pittarelli demonstrates the high sensitivity capabilities of the LDE/LME low pressure sensor family.
This video demonstrates First Sensor’s LDE differential pressure sensors from 25 Pa for medical device and HVAC applications.
First Sensor Group, the world's leading supplier in the field of sensor systems, closed fiscal 2017 successfully. As previously announced, sales amounted to EUR147.5 million and were therefore just 2% above the planned range of EUR140 and EUR145 million. Due to a more dynamic second half of the year, the EBIT margin ultimately reached 7.2%. This means that the originally planned range of 5 to 6% was considerably exceeded.
First Sensor AG, a developer and manufacturer of standard products and customer-specific solutions on the growth market of sensor technology, is taking the next step towards volume production of cameras for driver assistance systems and adding the "Blue Next" industrialized camera generation to its product range.
According to provisional figures, the First Sensor Group closed fiscal year 2017 very successfully. Sales amounts to EUR147.5 million, almost 2% above the planned range of EUR140 million and EUR145 million. Due to a more dynamic second half of the year, the operating result (EBIT margin) comes up to 7.1%. It thus considerably exceeds the originally planned level of 5% to 6%. The full consolidated financial statements will be published on March 22, 2018.
First Sensor AG, a developer and manufacturer of standard products and customer-specific solutions on the growth market of sensor technology, has produced its 10 millionth pressure sensor for the control of braking systems for a major German original equipment manufacturer. The sensors are installed in almost all gasoline-engined models of the group's brands. The order was confirmed last year and now covers the period up until 2021 with an anticipated annual sales volume of up to EUR 8 million.
