The combination product market is consistently expanding, largely due to the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, the demand for self-administered treatments, and advancements in drug delivery devices.

Typically, these products involve a pharmaceutical drug or biologic pre-packaged within a device for easy administration. This simplifies the process for patients and caregivers, often enabling at-home treatment and reducing the need for clinic visits. This not only eases the burden on patients but also helps them stick to their medication schedules.

However, transitioning from traditional vial systems to needle-based combination products presents several challenges that require careful consideration.
