Dual Seal Variable Volume Precision Dispense Pump Datasheet
The Dual Seal Variable Volume Precision Dispense Pump is a robust, stepper motor-driven positive displacement pump designed for reliable dispensing of complex fluids, including those with high surfactant content or crystallization tendencies.
It features a dual-seal system with two fluidic chambers to isolate the motor from the working fluid, preventing contamination and improving durability across extensive cycle life. A unique design ensures the piston does not retract past the second seal, and the isolation chamber can be filled with air, barrier fluid, or flushed to prevent residue buildup.
Key specifications include dispense volumes of 500 and 1000 µL, coefficient of variation (CV) ≤0.03% for high precision, and integrated features like a home sensor, optical motor encoder, and backlash compensation. Available in PMMA or PEEK port head materials, the pump offers flexibility for a range of applications.
To simplify development and testing, The Lee Company offers a Variable Volume Pump (VVP) Driver (part number LSWX0307810A), powered by Trinamic’s TMC5130 motion controller and MAX22200 solenoid drivers. This driver handles motor control, sensor feedback, and solenoid management. It supports I2C and UART communications for system integration and allows easy script development via TMCL IDE for standalone or peripheral operation. With downloadable resources, starter scripts, and detailed firmware guidance, the VVP system streamlines both prototyping and implementation.
