Canon offers a variety of brushless, coreless, and ironcore dc-motors that are custom manufactured to achieve the exact speed, power, and currents required for OEM applications. These motors are supplied with attached gears, pinions, pulleys, lead wires, and conductors in order to reduce OEM labor and material costs.
The Canon dc-motors are found in robotic systems, semiconductor process equipment, sporting equipment, currency/credit card acceptor mechanisms, medical devices, entertainment products, diagnostic equipment, pumps, banking and gaming equipment, and much more.
Brushless Motors: These compact, high-power motors are offered in outer rotor types with high rotational stability and quick response, as well as in inner rotor types equipped with reduction gears and encoders.
Ironcore Motors: These motors are available in a wide variety of sizes and windings, and are used in many different markets ranging from consumer products to industrial and professional products. A lineup of options such as gears and encoders can provide the optimum solution to fulfill any requirement.
Coreless Motors: These motors feature a small footprint, high power output, and a low moment of inertial that provides quick response rates and high controllability. They are ideal for many applications including cameras and pumps. Customization and other options are available on request.
Actuator units: Canon’s actuator units are developed and designed by the utilization and implementation of simulation techniques combined with motors. These small, lightweight actuators are designed to customer specifications with very high levels of customer satisfaction.
