Solenoid Valves for Medical Instrumentation: LHD Series

Solenoid Valves for Medical Instrumentation: LHD Series

The LHD Series by the Lee Company comprises high-density interface solenoid valves ideal for oxygen delivery systems, gas analysis equipment, patient monitors, air calibration devices, gas chromatography devices, and other medical instrumentation with flow control needs and limited space.

Featuring small size and light weight, these solenoid valves are available in plug-in, face-mount, and ported styles. Extended performance versions featuring quiet operation, semi-inert materials, and higher flow capacity are also available.

Leakage
Maximum of 50 µL/minute of air at 70°F with 5 psig applied to the common port.

Internal Volume

  • 2-Way N.C. Plug-In: 28 µL
  • 3-Way Plug-In: 40 µL
  • 3-Way Face Mount: 72 µL
  • 3-Way Soft Tube Ported: 77 µL

Weight
The 3-Way valves weigh only 4 grams. The 2-Way N.C. valves weigh only 2.5 grams.

Life Expectancy
The valves will typically operate up to 250 million cycles on air, depending on the seal material and application parameters.

Operating Pressure
The valves will operate within the specified pressure range when supplied with the rated voltage ± 5%. The normally closed port seal is spring loaded, so the pressure applied to this port should not exceed the pressure on the common port or the normally open port unless otherwise indicated.

  • Valve Proof Pressure: 2X Normal Rated Pressure
  • Valve Burst Pressure: 3X Normal Rated Pressure
