Hydrophilic coatings are designed to enhance the handling of medical devices such as catheters by clinicians during insertion by maintaining lubricity throughout the procedure.

  2. Miniature Proportional Valves: VSO® LowPro Series 2/17/2016

    Parker Hannifin’s VSO® LowPro Valves are designed to offer enhanced flow control for inert gases in applications where typical flow rates reach up to 50 SLPM with a maximum of 1.5 Watts at room temperature. These miniature valves are 16 mm wide by 14 mm tall, with an orifice of up to up to 0.080” (2.03 mm) and a weight of 12 g. They can be inserted into the smallest portable devices to improve performance, size, and weight, and can perform the function of valves three times their size without sacrificing the power.

    Ocean Optic’s Laser-induced Breakdown Spectrometer Measurement Systems are detection systems that permit real-time qualitative measurements of elements in solids, solutions and gases. These broadband, high-resolution systems provide spectral analysis across a wide 200-980 nm range (depending on the system) at a resolution of ~0.1 nm (FWHM). The LIBS2500plus is a much-improved system from our previous LIBS offerings. Advantages of the new system include a smaller footprint,  Increased system sensitivity due to the elimination of internal fiber and more functionality for use with external triggering options, such as delay generators.

  5. Miniature Diaphragm Isolation Valve: R9 Series 9/30/2015

    The R9 is a 9mm miniature diaphragm isolation valve designed to deliver the liquid flow capabilities of a 16mm valve. These valves feature a 44% reduction in width, pressures up to 100 psi, low carryover performance, and particulate and crystallization resistance.
